The Procedure entry point _XYZ could not be located in the dynamic link library abc.dll

Most probable reason for this is the procedure XYZ is not there in the abc.dll, but referenced from elsewhere.This will occur when the application has a mixed bag of old and new binaries/dlls.

Solutions:  is to find out the dependent dlls [use Microsoft tool depends] and bring all the binaries to the same release.
